So those of you who know me are well aware that I am a Facebook FIEND! Well this right here is the man who we have to thank for this marvelous invention/social network that has consumed many of our lives and which we call Facebook. Mark Zuckerbeg is a 24 year-old (that's right! he's only 24!!) computer programmer and president/founder/CEO of Facebook. While attending college at Harvard University he toyed around with various internet programs, one of which even got him in trouble and sent before the administrative board for hacking into Harvard's network and violating the school's computer ethics. So there I was getting my internet priveleges taken from me by UD for downloading music while he was getting his internet priveleges taken away for creating social networks using Harvard's system! That officially surpasses my feelings about Lebron PLAYING in the finals while I was TAKING finals! But back to Zuckerberg...long story short, he created Facebook in his dorm in 2004 and now, eight years later, this man is worth $390 million.!! Not too bad for a 24 year-old. And oh yeah...he sold a 1.6% stake of the company to Microsoft for $240 million. That's just 1.6% folks! So with that said, Mark Zuckerberg is yet another Young $$$Maker who I consider an inspiration for myself as a young entrepreneur looking to make waves in this vast ocean we call life.
